Comedy for Koby, founded by Avi Liberman, is a highly popular comedy tour benefiting The Koby Mandell Foundation.  For over 15 years the tour has been presenting top-tier comedians to Israeli stages and has recently expanded with performances in North America.

The tour is the brainchild and initiative of Avi Liberman, a highly sought-after comedian whose connections and talents have helped attract the participation of some of the leading names in the comedy world to come and perform for Israel audiences.

In addition to shows across the country, the tour helps expose these entertainers to the realities of the challenges faced by Israel, an aspect of the tour which has become increasingly important in recent years, and in particularly amidst the ongoing war.  With the benefit of their experiences and insights, these comedians are then able to become ambassadors for the truth about Israel and the beauty of the country and its people.

Through the support of our fans and numerous sponsors around the world, the tour has become a critical fundraiser for The Koby Mandell Foundation, an organization which benefits victims of terror and tragedy.  In the wake of October 7th, The Koby Mandell Foundation has significantly expanded its programming in response to the constantly growing demands.  The Foundation’s trademark program is Camp Koby, a summer camp experience specifically designed for children who have experienced direct loss due to terror or other tragedies.

The Foundation sees Comedy for Koby as a central part of its therapeutic mission with the firm belief in the power of humor even in the face of the most difficult challenges.
